The Interactive Computer Integrated Manufacturing (ICIM) enterprise resource planning (ERP) system is a multi-company/multi-facility software package that integrates manufacturing, engineering, customer service, and financials in a real time Web enabled environment. It is suited for discrete manufacturers, especially the make-to-order (MTO), configure-to-order (CTO), assemble-to-order (ATO), and engineer-to-order (ETO) environments. The ICIM software package uses Oracle's relational database. The package is offered in client-server or a three-tier architecture for browser-based operation. It can run on a wide range of platforms including Windows NT, Unix, Linux, and VMS.
